Matt Farris, J.D.
Senior Vice President, Market Executive
Matt is a market executive for the Tulsa/Oklahoma City region of Commerce Trust. He facilitates the introduction of our prospective clients to a comprehensive service team which includes private banking, investment management, trust administration, and financial planning. Matt provides an integrated and seamless client experience as we partner with clients to meet their long-term goals and objectives.
Prior to joining Commerce Trust, he worked as an attorney specializing in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and probate matters at a Tulsa law firm. Matt earned his bachelor of science in finance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1999 and his juris doctor degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2005. Matt was named the University of Tulsa College of Law Outstanding Junior Alumnus in 2013 and served as president of the Tulsa County Bar Association from 2016 -2017.
Matt currently serves on the board of directors for both the Estate Planning Forum and the Tulsa Ballet. He also has served as president for the Tulsa County Bar Association and trustee for Holland Hall. Matt was named the University of Tulsa College of Law Outstanding Jr. Alumnus in 2013. Matt is a former professional soccer athlete.
