Dan Rice
Institutional Relationship Administrator
Daniel serves as an institutional administrator and relationship manager with the Commerce Trust. He is responsible for providing fiduciary and trust administrative capabilities to retirement plans, public and Taft-Hartley plans, foundations, and endowments.
Daniel works closely with our clients to provide advisory oversight on administrative matters impacting their relationship. Serving as the single point of contact for our internal team, he coordinates all client service deliverables, including the various day-to-day aspects of the trust relationship, client reporting requirements, portfolio reviews, and client inquiries.
Daniel joined Commerce Bank in 2006 and has served in several positions within the retail banking division and business line support. Prior to joining the Institutional Trust team, he was a product specialist concentrating on employee training, client services and product implementation.
Daniel graduated from St. Louis University with a Bachelor of Science in finance and earned his Master of Business Administration from Fontbonne University. Daniel is a member of the Central Institute for the Deaf Young Professionals board. He also serves as a volunteer and classroom facilitator for Junior Achievement of Greater St. Louis. He currently serves on the investment committee for the Franciscan Province of the Sacred Heart. A lifelong St. Louisan, Daniel enjoys frequenting the areas many cultural attractions and historic parks. In his free time he enjoys running, music, local sports, and spending time with his wife, son, and their two dogs.
