Dennis Burns, J.D.
Vice President, Private Client Advisor
Dennis is a private client advisor for Commerce Trust. He serves as a consultant and relationship manager providing clients with personalized objective advice and oversight across all our services including trust administration, financial advisory services, private banking, and investment management. Dennis facilitates all aspects of relationship management for the client team including administering complex trusts, maintaining client communication, and coordinating with internal and external partners to deliver a superior client experience.
Prior to joining Commerce Trust, Dennis acted as an estate planning consultant for Kansas-Nebraska Southern Baptist Foundation. He received his bachelor’s degree in mathematics education at the University of Central Oklahoma and his Juris Doctorate at Oklahoma City University. He is licensed in Kansas and Oklahoma. Dennis has worked with various foundations and charitable organizations with their donor relationships. In his free time, he enjoys watching Big 12 sports, playing tennis and pickleball, and cooking outdoors.
