Tax Director, Commerce Family Office
Doug is the tax director for Commerce Family Office. In this role, he is deeply engaged in tax planning and tax compliance work for many of Commerce Trust’s most significant client relationships, including individuals, trusts, partnerships and private foundations. His many years of sophisticated tax work have earned him the position of trusted advisor to those clients dealing with particularly complex tax issues. Through his involvement with the Family Office Services Group, Doug provides important guidance on the tax implications of various planning decisions that our clients face in their estate planning, trust administration and charitable giving. The depth and breadth of Doug’s background bring meaningful results for our clients.
Doug earned his bachelor of science degree in accounting from Missouri Western State College and his master of science degree in tax accounting from the University of Missouri Kansas City.
