Matt Farris, J.D.
Senior Vice President, Market Executive
Matt is a market executive for the Tulsa/Oklahoma City region of Commerce Trust. He facilitates the introduction of prospective clients to a comprehensive service team, for investment management, trust administration, financial planning, and private banking. Matt provides an integrated and seamless client experience, partnering with clients to meet their long-term goals and objectives.
Prior to joining Commerce Trust, he worked as an attorney specializing in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and probate matters at a Tulsa law firm. Matt earned his Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1999, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa College of Law in 2005. Matt was named the University of Tulsa College of Law Outstanding Junior Alumnus in 2013 and served as president of the Tulsa County Bar Association from 2016-2017.
Matt is actively involved in the Tulsa community, serving on the boards of the Tulsa Ballet, Tulsa Estate Planning Forum, Tulsa County Bar Association, and University of Tulsa College of Law Alumni Association. He also served as a trustee for Holland Hall. Matt is a former professional soccer athlete.
