Peter McHugh
Vice President, Senior Institutional Relationship Manager
Peter is a senior relationship manager for institutional services for Commerce Trust. He is responsible for providing fiduciary and trust administrative capabilities to retirement plans, public and Taft-Hartley plans, foundations, and endowments.
Peter works closely with our clients and provides advisory oversight on administrative matters impacting their relationship. Serving as the single point of contact for our internal team, he coordinates all client service deliverables, including the various day-to-day aspects of the trust relationship, client reporting requirements, portfolio reviews, and client inquiries. Peter joined Commerce Trust in 2020 and comes with more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry.
Peter received his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from Purdue University. He is a current volunteer and had served as the past president and vice president of board of directors at Gift of Life.
