Sarah Johnson
Private Client Advisor
Sarah is a private client advisor for Commerce Trust. She serves as a consultant and relationship manager providing clients with personalized objective advice and oversight across all our services including trust administration, financial advisory services, private banking, and investment management. Sarah facilitates all aspects of relationship management for the client team including administering complex trusts, maintaining client communication, and coordinating with internal and external partners to deliver a superior client experience.
Sarah joined Commerce in 2024 and has a Bachelor of Public Health from the University of Kentucky and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Prior to joining Commerce, Sarah was a law clerk for the Probate Court of Jackson County, Missouri. She also interned with a large law firm in their trusts, estates, and legacy planning division, focusing on long-term planning for high-net worth clients. Her other experiences include the Jackson County Office of the Public Administrator and in-house counsel summer associate at a Fortune 500 company.
Outside of work, she enjoys teaching yoga, riding horses, watching Kentucky basketball, and being outside with her two Australian shepherds, Harley and Millie.
